Pond & Park Cleanup Day

Volunteers are needed for Farmington’s 16th Annual Pond & Park Cleanup Day on April 29, 2017!
Are you ready to get outside this spring? Has winter taken its toll on you like it has on our natural areas? The city of Farmington is looking for volunteers interested in cleaning up what winter left behind. Everyone is invited to participate in cleaning up a city owned pond, park, or natural area. The city will provide volunteers with supplies and garbage disposal.
Pond & Park Cleanup Day began as a way to protect the natural habitat and enhance the aesthetics of Farmington ponds and parks by cleaning up the garbage that accumulated over the winter.
More than 400 people collected over one ton of garbage from natural areas during the 2016 Pond and Park Cleanup Day; let’s keep the momentum going to keep our ponds and parks clean!
Contact Jen Dullum at 651-280-6845 or [email protected] before April 20 to volunteer for Pond and Park Cleanup Day.
