Pumpkin Recycling & Yard Waste Reminders

Hello - We have two reminders for residents:

1. Recycle your pumpkins this weekend. There is a collection dumpster in the north parking lot of the Maintenance Facility located on Municipal Drive. It will be available through Sunday. All the pumpkins will be composted and turned into dirt to make new pumpkins for next year. Please be sure to remove all candles, wax and decorations. Put painted pumpkins in the garbage.
   
   
2. The last yard waste collection of the season will be the week of Nov. 15. Please make sure your yard waste can is at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regular service day. If you don’t subscribe to the seasonal program but have compostable bags of yard waste that you’d like picked up, tags are available at City Hall for $3.50 each.
