The city planner reviews the project plans to verify compliance with zoning requirements pertaining to landscaping, parking, setbacks, exterior lighting, screening, and off street loading. The planner also ensures compliance with the sign, conditional use and variance ordinances, if applicable.
The city engineer will determine that proper erosion control, drainage, grading, building elevations, parking lot grading, sewer and water hookups, and traffic access are provided for the site.
