The Water Board is a three member advisory board that is appointed for three year terms by the Farmington City Council. Board members make decisions and advise City Council on water issues and infrastructure needed to provide water to residents.
This board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. The meetings are open to the public. Visit the Boards and Commissions page for an application to serve.
In order to ensure that the public safety and essential needs of residents are not jeopardized while still allowing water use flexibility, the Water Board has year round restrictions on outdoor watering.
