Firefighter/Rescue Application Process
The completed application packet must be returned by mail, fax, or in person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Resumes my be included with application materials, but will not be accepted in lieu of completed application packet. Applications can be picked up at City Hall or downloaded below: Paid on call Firefighter The City has openings for paid on call firefighters. Applicants must live within four minutes drive time of a Farmington fire station and be at least 18 years old. Benefits include hourly salary for training and fire callouts, training, uniforms and retirement. All candidates will be required to complete a written evaluation, physical agility evaluation, oral interview and medical exam. Applications are available at City Hall, 430 Third Street or can be downloaded below and should be delivered to Human Resources at City Hall by Friday, January 13, 2012.
