Adopt-A-Hydrant The Farmington Fire Department would greatly appreciate
your cooperation by keeping fire hydrants clear of snow. Please adopt a fire hydrant in your neighborhood this year and clear a three foot area around the hydrant after each
snowfall. This will prevent the hydrant from being buried
completely after successive snow events and will ensure availability if it is needed in a fire emergency. This can
save several minutes of the Firefighters time
allowing more time for putting out a fire.
To adopt a fire hydrant call 651-280-6800
and your name will be added to the “Adopt
a Fire Hydrant” program list. The City of Farmingon thanks the 2011-12 season
